artist statement

Art and Design has been a big passion of mine since when I came into being. I am constantly fascinated by the World around me and nature always captivates my imagination and astounds me with her beauty and power.

art background

I was very lucky to be taught by a Doctor in Art for six years at school, and Miss Ollett was the contributing factor to me being able to draw paint and interpret colour the way I do to this present day - Thank you.

It was clear to me when working in a shoe shop after I left school that I needed to go to college and study Art, I missed it too much, but it didn’t stop me from appreciating shoes! I really loved it at college and was fortunate enough to be on a great course where I could try out so many creative subjects such as sculpture, life drawing, fashion, screen printing, photography, painting, graphics and illustration and of course learn about Art history and all the great masters and modern artists. It was a fantastic introduction and I continued on to University where I graduated in Fine Art and Art History.

interior design

I then worked as a interior designer and created murals for private residences and companies before finding my way to Holland and becoming a Textile designer.

home decor

I create art for my home either with my photography or creating actual paintings in oil or acrylic. I have made custom art for clients and exhibit at art markets to sell my work directly to the public. My Fine Art and Photography are also available from Etsy and Redbubble.

I am currently working on a new collection of paintings and looking for representation soon!
